When a Loved One Commits Suicide

3 days ago, I lost my brother to suicide. Even more horrific, he took my nephew with him. You can read the news account here:
It's bad enough that both families are devastated, then the media paints a VERY inaccurate picture of what happened. They trashed my brother's reputation without ever trying to find out who he really was!

Investigators say a father shot and killed his young son inside a Foxboro house, unsuccessfully tried to set the home on fire, then killed himself late Thursday night.

Deepest sympathy to you. This is so sad. Depression is truly a disastrous feeling. My heart goes to your nephew as well. And the media .tsk tsk. They're like adding insult to the injury.
