The Start of A New Week

Well, it’s Monday morning again and I’ve got a very busy week coming up. I won’t bore you with all the details, but I think that I will get a lot accomplished if I can just get started. Autumn is here and I’m sure that the weather will be changing soon to cooler days and nights. It was 91 F yesterday. I haven’t checked the forecast for this week yet and I’m wondering where the hurricane has gone. Today the sky is a beautiful blue and I can’t see any clouds in the sky. I’m headed downstairs for a cup of coffee and my morning reading. I have a new book from the Thrift Store and I hope that it proves to be as interesting as I think it will be. The house is quiet and I will check the weather and see who’s on Instagram this morning. After breakfast, I think I will run some errands before it gets too hot outside. Post Office, bank and Dollar Tree and then I need to get a few groceries. I need to make a list of some things I need to take to the beach next month. I hope you have a wonderful week and the weather where you live is pleasant. I’m still concerned and praying for all the people who have been displaced and injured by the recent hurricanes and earthquakes, and for all the families who have lost loved ones. It's been a very sad situation and it will take a lot of work to clean up all the devastation that has happened in the last few weeks.

There is certainly a lot going on in the world that is causing sadness and injury. The flooding, landslides, hurricanes and earthquakes are happening more and more frequently and most of it is a result of poor decisions made by humans. Global warming is causing a lot of these climatic changes and global warming is mostly caused by what humans are doing to the atmosphere with pollution from factories and vehicular exhaust fumes. This is no surprise to persons who read the prophecies in the Bible. 2 Timothy3:1 says: "But know this, that in the LAST DAYS, critical times, hard to deal with will be here..." And whether you are a Bible reader or NOT, you might want to watch this short 3-minute video that explains why this world is in such a mess and what will take place in the near future.
Why study the Bible? Find answers to life’s big questions: Is there a God? Will suffering end? See how to get a free Bible study at a time and place convenient for you.

It's overcast this morning. I haven't checked the weather today yet, but it looks like we might get some rain. We could actually USE some rain.

So much devastation, so much loss. It is heartbreaking. Our weather will be warming up again this week in Paradise, CA But not to 100s anymore, just into mid 80s at most, they say. But the nights won't be hot like they were. I can't complain, we've been lucky compared to so many. knock on wood cuz fire season is not over, but we didn't have to evacuate from fire this year. My friend and I are supposed to be making our thrift store and Dollar Tree run tomorrow. We have a lot of fun doing that. It's about the most fun I have anymore, lol. I hope your errands go smoothly and you don't get too hot out there.
