Good afternoon my friends. I just made a banana bread. My husband and I love it. Banana's are good for potassium which we all need. They are great sliced on cereal too. I also put peanut butter on mine. I recently bought the frozen bananas covered in chocolate. So delicious! Banana pudding I love and I make banana cream pie as well. I buy some green and some very yellow so they will ripen quickly and I can make more breads.

I use them in smoothies, they give a great thickness. However, I have to be careful, the flavor of banana overwhelms most berries lol

I have stopped eating refined sugar. I use bananas a lot as a substitute for sugar. I blend a ripe banana up with almond milk and cocoa and make a tasty drink.

@Ganma7 You're welcome. I have made quick breads and just used over ripe bananas for sweetner. Probably not sweet enough for folks used to whole cups of sugar in their bread but good enough for me.

My mom would roll a banana in the dry sugar free jello mix, and we loved it. It was the only way we would eat a banana.

@Ganma7 I don't know how good it is. I have an Omega juicer which is a squeezer instead of a masticator. It is supposed to be one of the best. With this juicer I make a banana soup. You can make different soups by varying the ingredients but this is the one I like the best. 8 to 12 bananas (make sure they are ripe by having many brown spots) 3/4 to 1 whole romaine lettuce 1 cucumber or 4 sticks of celery 1 small hot pepper (if you want it spicy) 3 fresh dates or 3 dried dates if fresh are not available Pass everything through the juicer but collect everything by using a large bowl. Mix the juice and pulp and eat.

I love bananas too; banana split, smoothies, banana fritters, dipped in chocolate fondue sauce, I used to make a sort of stir-fry with chicken cooked with banana and peanut butter. Banana and peanut butter sandwiches are great too, and really keep you going if you have a busy day!

I toss my overripe into the freezer skins and all, when company is coming I thaw a few and make banana bread. Why when we have company? Because if I make it just for the two of us, I end up eating the whole loaf. My husband made breakfast for me this morning, french toast and fried bananas...delicious together.

I sooooo love banana breads. Here in manila we fry bananas. You need to slice them in circles then fry them and coat it in sugar (caramelized). It is called banana chips. Try to search it on youtube for tutorials. It is good. One of my favorite.
