Do you take care of your fingers and finger nails regularly? Do you make sure that your nails are trimmed or you do not bother about your nails, you let it grow, till you find that you are finding it difficult to have long nails? When someone asks you to show your fingers, do you show your full fingers to them or you just fold your fingers before showing it to someone?

It is good to know that you keep your nails shorter, otherwise you may find it difficult to type on key board, when mylotting.
If someone asks you to show your fingers, would you show your fingers the way it has been shown in the picture?

You like to keep your finger nails short and you do not allow your nails to grow longer. Yes you are right longer nails could break any time causing pain and disappointment.
If someone asks you to show your fingers, would you show your fingers the way it has been shown in the picture?

It is nice to know that you have piano player fingers, which means that your fingers are long and thin.
Do you show them the way it has been shown in the picture?

Three weeks is pretty long time to cut nails, do your nails take three weeks to grow?
In my case it is one week. I cut my nails after one week.

@dpk262006 Yeah...actually I try to avoid cutting them on some days...I like them soft...hair bath day is good to cut them..so I cut them then. If for some reason I forget then I do let them be..

@vandana7 - As you said that you avoid cutting them on some particular days, does it mean that you believe in superstition. Yes, nails should be cut after taking bath, as at that point of time our fingers are soft.

It is good to hear that you take care of your fingers and nails and you consider fingers as one of the most important parts of your body. It is wiser on your part that you do not go for longer nails, you trim at the right time.
If someone asks you to show your fingers, would you show your fingers the way it has been shown in the picture?

@kiran8 I understand that you keep your fingers clean once you are done with gardening.
My intention was not that you hide your fingers, if someone asks you to show it, the question was - will you show it in the manner as in the picture uploaded with this discussion.

It is good to hear that you like to keep your nails trimmed and short and you do not go for long nails. Yes, I can understand that gardening could make your nails rough and even somewhat dirty.
If someone asks you to show your fingers, would you show your fingers the way it has been shown in the picture?

I have always been told I have "nice" nails. And I do nothing with my nails - I don't like to make a fuss of grooming my nails in the way many women do at nail salons. I work with my hands a lot. So honestly, even if I tried to grow my nails somewhat long, they break off right away . . . somehow it takes care of itself . But I do keep my nails clean if anything. If someone were to ask to see my nails, I think I'd just stick out my entire hand!

It is wiser on your part that you do not grow your nails beyond the normal size as you are required to do lots of work with your hands. It is for sure that if one has big nails, it could crumble while working. Long nails do not serve any purpose to my mind.
How do you stick out your hand, if someone asked you to show your nails/hands? Do you stick out, as shown in the picture?

@much2say Functioning with long nails is not an easy task, long nails are for fashion only.
Yes, this kind of hand gesture (as shown in the picture) is shown by most woman, if they are asked to show their hand. On the other hand if a man is asked to show his hand, he won't show in this manner.

@dpk262006 I don't know if it is wiser . . . I am just lazy and do minimally for my nails . I could not function with very long nails . . . it'd be too difficult to type for myLot . I guess I would show my hand like the photo . . . probably more sideways than upward though . Is there a significance to that? Is that a certain hand gesture?

It is interesting to know that you take extra care of your fingers and nails. I agree with you that for mylotting you need short nails, otherwise it could be a problem to type your responses/comments.

It is good that you trim your nails at regular intervals. It is really surprising that none has asked you to show your fingers?
Assuming if someone asks you to show your fingers, would you show like it has been shown in the picture?

Yes, it is better to keep our nails trimmed as you need to look after your kids. Long nails are unhealthy and to my mind do not serve any purpose.

I probably do not take good care of my nails. When they get to be too much I have to cut them. I was even thinking of putting polish on them again.
