Back from my first day of work

Everything went pretty well. I survived the whole day without allowing myself to get stressed out. First thing this morning another coworker figured I should know what my boss was saying about me behind my back while I was out. None of it very nice but of course to my face he is a different person. He does that with everybody the works there so I wasn't surprised he would do it to me too. I could have went without hearing that. When he told me I felt to walk out I could feel it in my chest but I calmed myself down and let it go. When my boss seen me he was as sweet as pie. Other then that things went good and once I get rested up I will be already to take on another day tomorrow. The two new girls they hired while i was out are really nice and doing well with their positions. Now to figure out something to eat.

Actually, that was terrible for your co-worker to say those things, especially on your very first day back:( Try to put that out of your mind and just do your job, as before. It's like this at all work places, believe it or not

I'm sorry he said bad things about you. I dislike two faced people. I'm glad other than that you had a good day. =)

Sorry to hear that your boss was saying mean things about you behind your back. Glad you was able to calm yourself down and not get upset over it. Glad your first day back went well other than that. Hope tomorrow is better.

Thank you! The week hasn't been too bad so far. I just try to ignore him when I hear things like that. It hurts but I don't let it get to me or try not to anyway.

My first thought would be "why". Why does this co worker think you need to know all these little sordid comments? I get the impression everyone already knows the boss is a back stabber. Is this coworker one also? I am glad it did not get you to walk out. You are better than that, even if neither of them is.

I'm glad that you are back and handled the stress that was presented to you well. I don't know what would make anyone push someone like that, to tell you things that would only upset you is uncalled for and I hope that they stop it. That is the stress that you can live without.

I'm glad you handled your first day back at work well. I have never worked with a nasty two-faced boss like that. That's awful. At least the new girls are sweet. That co-worker had no business telling you that, especially after what you've been through. I'd just work, and mind my own business in that place!

Ya know what I have learned to do for those jealous gossip bas tards? I look them in the face and I tell them " wow that is not as bad as what he said about you." turn and walk away. I have a couple tenants that does this, they tell me what the neighbors say about me, The thing is I already know. If she talks about everyone then why would I be left out?

I wish I would have thought to say that. I know the coworker enjoys the drama so that is why he finds to need to stir the pot and cause bad feelings.

Oh boy. As much as some may want to know what people say behind their backs, others dont want to know; and the worker shouldve thought of that before saying anything. Although. Maybe they thought you'd want to know, if that's the person who just lost their sister, who you said you are close to? Oh well, cant take it back. Hope you had a delicious meal
