Technician arrives and takes 8 1/2 hours to leave.

So today I had some work done on my house, the technician arrived at 7:53am and didn't leave until just a little after 4:00 pm wow what a long tiring day sitting around waiting for him to finish all the work he needed to do just to get our internet, tv and phone running properly. I was starving but didn't eat because I felt like i was being rude I offered drinks but he kindly declined. What would you have done? would you eat?
