I just recently discovered this anime titled Drifters. The Antagonist of this anime was called Black King his character reminds me so much of Jesus Christ. Drifters are heroes, leaders, and great warriors from different eras and cultures that have been brought to an unknown world by Murasaki, where they are meant to fight the Ends. A common element to the Drifters is that, although they are driven by violence, victory, and conquest, most of them are not cruel and do not tolerate the hurting of innocents. Unlike the Ends, the Drifters have no magic abilities unless they were born with them, and therefore must largely rely on their technology and tenacity to survive. Ends - The opposing force in the unknown world, the Ends are, like the Drifters, mainly composed of powerful historical figures who died under unorthodox and often violent circumstances. Unlike the Drifters, however, the Ends are revered humans that have forsaken their humanity, and are thus capable of using supernatural powers. Most of the Ends are driven completely by an intense hate for humanity for the various betrayals each suffered back on Earth. They seem to have been brought into the new world by EASY, who is at odds with Murasaki. Black King (?? Kuroo) The leader of the Ends. He claims that he once tried to "save" humans, but he has since shifted his agenda towards non-humans after humans "denied" his efforts. His identity has yet to be established, but he is shown to possess healing powers and the ability to multiply any life form he wishes, infinitely producing food or wood. He also has puncture scars in both of his palms. His ultimate goal is to eradicate all humans and create a new civilization of non-humans in a perpetual Dark Age, ensuring that they never advance far enough to become as destructive as humans, creating what the Black King believes will be a utopia. In order to achieve this, the Black King has instructed Rasputin to create a simple alphabet and a syncretic religion to allow the different non-human races to find a common ground. That was tame compared to the video game Fight of Gods, Where Jesus fights Buddha, Loki, Amaterasu and other Gods from other religions.

@Phelly02 The 1st 4 part of the Jojo's bizaare adventure has been adopted into Anime.... it's part 7 will be controversial because on that Manga, People are fighting over the dismembered body parts of Jesus. They collect them like they are dragon balls.

@Phelly02 When I saw Drifters on Crunchyroll, speaking as a Christian I'm rather glad this series isn't Pokemon levels of popular otherwise I'd never hear the end of it once the suspicion of the Black King being Jesus was raised. I'd hazard a guess that since you're from the Philippines you know all the typical complaints I'd have to put up this:"Defamation of Jesus and Christianity" or some crap like that, being an influence in enticing kids to do wicked deeds. List goes on... I don't mind for the following: The Black King isn't evil per say, but rather misguided. Speaking as a misanthrope, I know full well anger, rage, and hateful resentment does that to people. :p So I'm curious to see where this goes.

It's not good to see anime like that coz that may or may not alter or influence your faith in Jesus. It should be banned. But Maybe, it is just your interpretation and that is not what the anime is portraying. I just hope so......
