I live in a metropolitan city. There are many things I like about it and many many things I don't like about it. First thing is traffic. Well even though I don't have bike or a car. Its even hard to walk here. Sound pollution ,its unbelievable. Second thing is I can't find a open terraced house here . all have big buildings where I can't see sun and the sky. Hopefully I get enough light and air though. Its been a mechanical life here

i notice the same thing in my neighborhood. when we were growing up, houses had enough space for a garage, a garden set, laundry line, surrounded by a low or medium fence and a gate, plants and trees, so you can still play or have friends and relatives over. the front and sides of the house also had windows.

I don't like living in such a place. I like the suburb.

We know how to live for a healthier lifestyle but we do not follow that path. Look at livable cities of the world and then follow the basics to make a change. I feel we should decongest cities to reduce population and pollution - siva .
