for those with milk allergies

I'm allergic to all dairy and I had been using soya for a few years now, but I've switched to rice milk as it can actually be used in coffee without curdling. I had missed having a nice cup of coffee. Coffee shops use a professional type of soya that works, but in the supermarkets there is nothing but regular soya. I recommend rice milk - also doesn't have a strong taste like soya does.

I like soya milk but I've stopped drinking it because too much soya, especially for women can cause hormonal imbalance that can develop into some serious disease. I have proven that to be true. I have had two surgeries already.

It's funny you say that because my hormones are all over the shop - hence my migraines.

@toniganzon A few people have mentioned the health warning associated with soya. I wouldn't of even drank the stuff if I had known.

yes, there's lots of different types of milk nowadays. Due to my many allergies, I'm limited to what I can have.

This is true. My shopping is very expensive as due to my food allergies I have to buy food from the 'free from' ranges. But I have no choice if I want to eat. Lucky I don't have a large appetite.

@TiarasOceanView between food allergies and GM foods it is hard to find what to eat. Most of our food is tampered with.

@SerenityEngel - I understand. Almonds are one of the few nuts my girlfriend is not allergic to.

There's a few supermarkets that sell it here. Mum had trouble picking me some up the other week. It is really the big stores, not the local small ones.

It's good for cooking with as it doesn't taint the food with taste like soya does.
