The Anti-Distracted Driving Act, officially recorded as Republic Act No. 10913, is a law in the Philippines that prohibits distracted driving by restricting and penalizing the use of mobile phones and other electronics devices while driving on any public thoroughfare, highway or street in the Philippines.
It was already implemeted nationwide starting May 18, 2017.
But I haven't heard that someone was already apprehended in regards to this act. Still I saw a lot of people using cellphones while driving.
Was this law already implemented in your towns or cities already?

I don't think that law is already implemented in the city where I currently live in. I guess that law is implemented in Luzon areas especially in Metro Manila.

@Phelly02 It's a very complicated law. They should revise more of it's do's dont's before implementing it to all. Cellphones are very important during emergencies. They should consider that.

@renicemae, There's a lot of complaints regarding the said law as what @toniganzon said, that is why it wasn't implemented yet.
