Why did I check the headlines today :(

I was in a good mood this morning as I woke up. We slept with the windows open because the cooler Fall air was so nice and fresh. The sun was and is still shinning bright and pretty. I ate breakfast and drank my coffee.
Then, I depressed myself. I opened Twitter online and saw Tweet after Tweet about the mass shooting at the Country Music Fest in Las Vegas, 50 or more killed, hundreds in the hospital. The 64 year old who did it, shot himself as police surrounded him.
I just don't know what to say. I am sickened that crap like this keeps happening through out the world.
All I can do is pray for the victims families and for those who were injured, that they will physically and emotionally heal.
I am sad today.

I know what you mean, I turned on the computer and it was the first thing I saw. Shocking news. My condolences to all the victims.

I agree. The injured will have to live with it the rest of their lives. The emotional scars can be worse than the physical scars.

Saw some lady talking about it on the news this morning. I turned the channel. That was too much for me. My dad said that the man was angry with some hotel about a lawsuit and took his anger out on those people. i haven't taken time to fact check that info so idk..

I had to step away from watching it too and although my prayers go out to the victims and their families it's just a very sad way to start our week. Senseless

It happens more often and with more deadly totals here in the US than anywhere else. We are number 1 in mass murder by one individual and it is a very sick title.

The incident is everywhere so there is no escaping it. This insane act caused more human damage than all the recent hurricanes put together.

That is true. It brought more damage than the hurricanes. How does anyone who survived recover emotionally from this?
