What Is You Favorite Tom Petty Song

Just wanted to get some beer, watch my Chiefs play and listen to some music to forget about the dumb mistakes this country keeps doing over and over again. Then more bad news pops up. Mr Tom Petty died for those who have not heard. Another musician that really hurts. One of those singers where every race, religion, political ideology would come together and say, man that guy is just cool! Do not think I ever heard anyone straight up say, I do not like that guy. I do not think I ever heard a bad thing about him in the 41 years I have been alive. So, instead of mourning his death, Lets celebrate his life. I am not sure what my favorite song is, probably think it would be "Free Fallin" if I had not heard it so many times. I think I am going to choose this one because you know Tom Petty Never backed down from no one and was part of why so many liked him. I am sure he would not even back down to death. He did indeed stand his ground without making people feel small, but big indeed. What is your favorite song by the legend of life of who we call Tom Petty?

Fair enough, and love the honesty. All I ask in the world while be respectful at the same time. See, not so hard. This constant put downs of people we do not see eye to eye with is really driving me insane. Be much better if we could just say what we feel with out feeling we were going to get the persecution treatment.

@JohnRoberts Yeah, got me, punk reported it for me and they do not like to mess up stuff like that. Not a punk persona per say but lived his life in a very punk way. I think powers at be do what they do, killing the legacy of a man who would have never wanted it to be about that. Family I get but if their is business people involved, they need to step away.

Indeed, hard to pick just one, and not many come like him that often. Think why this one hurts so bad. You are right was an amazing man and lived his life accordingly.

It is hard to choose considering how many great ones he made. Will miss this man even though was just one of those musicians I never met.

Another terrible loss in the music world. My favorite is "Don't Do Me Like That."

Love it, I was like, hey that is my job, play the song you picked. I do like people who show intuitive. Tom would have smiled on this one or is smiling on this one.

I like Running Down A Dream despite it being overplayed on the radio. I also really liked a lot of the Traveling Willburys songs he was a part of. Rip!

Always, the brave pioneers that said no to society. One way or another do not think Tom is making music like this again. A great loss to the world.

oh this is a tough one. I think I have to go with "Wildflowers" but a close runner up is "Last Dance with Mary Jane"

Here you go miss lady, some wild flower for you Only man on earth that could sing about flowers and not have to worry about his precious ego. He just knew who he was and had to defend himself to no one.
To whomever it may concern ? Lyrics: You belong among the wildflowers You belong in a boat out at sea Sail away, kill off the hours You belong somewhere you ...
