In Kakching there are lakes were fishes are fed.

In Kakching hills, there are lakes where visitors are allowed to feed the fishes in the water bodies. Visitors buy the rice products like khoi (baked rice) which is bought in packets and are allowed to throw them in the waters where the fishes come and eat them. The fishes are generally carps like Rohu, Bhetki, Katla and are harmless. It is fun to feed the fishes.

Thanks Prashuji yes I enjoyed giving food to the fishes. They jumped up to the surface to get the food.

Thanks Moonlight, yes seeing the fishes eating the khoi is a beautiful experience. They come on to the surface of the water to have the khoi.
