Would you skip a meal for the "benefit" of a diet?

Many people seek the perfect body (a lost time because the perfect body doesn't exist, does it? ) and for that, they do crazy diets that put their own health at risk (but they believe they are doing well for themselves ).
Would you be one of those people?

Skipping meals is not a good diet. You only hurt your body. Smaller portions is a better idea.

Proper diet is not starving yourself but eating the right kind of foods not unless it is voluntary fasting to cleanse the body which I do from time to time.

Nope at my age I am not very overweight and I realize I will never be as slim as I once was and that is good enough for me.
