Someday this moment is coming for us all...
Have to leave your parents' home and live alone scares or scared you by the time you decided to leave home? How do you imagine or how was this transition for you?
Do you think living alone is more beneficial or harmful?

I've never lived alone so I have no idea what's it like. I married young, had children and when they left home and got married my mom couldnt' live alone any longer and came to live with me. Now my daughter moved back home and I like having her company

looks like you have a full house again which is fun because of the noise and sometimes, not when you just want to be alone (but of course you have your own room to do that once in a while )

I moved out of my parent's house at 18, I'm now almost 40, and I've only lived completely alone for maybe a few months. I can't stand it. I'm one of those people who has to have someone to talk to almost constantly. My anxiety and bipolar disorders make it nearly impossible to be alone. I do find it important, however to have roomates that can understand and respect my personal space. And when I need to go in my room, and shut the door, and cry alone, I can

I have not really tried living alone but I did experience being away from loved ones a couple of times and that was difficult! For me, since I had to be away from my husband for a time being, it was an agony waking up in the morning to see that he is not around for us to do things together.
Though not all of my experience was horrifying because I did learn a few things on my own and the most important thing, I learned how to be strong in dealing with certain circumstances.

No its a good thing. It makes you appreciate people and their company, and appreciate going home to get away from them
Its only bad when you do not allow people into your life, and you talk to yourself all the time.

It's good for growing and learning. But for some people is kind of sad, especially if they are lonely and haven't chosen to live alone.

Living alone is all good. The peace of answering to no one and doing as you wish.

I believe it depends on the person. I have lived alone more than with others. I was married and got divorced and rented the room out and prefer just my cat and myself to living with those that do not approve of my way of life.
