I'm now in the verge of leaving the company due to my... uhm... laziness. For the past 9 years I am now starting to feel bored. I just felt it a month ago. But I am still working in the same company.
Some leaves their company because of low salary basis. Some for a better career growth. Others is due to sudden family emergenciea and other health reasons.
I don't know how to approach my boss about it, too. The job is really easy as you just need to answer their concerns about their financial account. It's just that sometimes I feel the need of leaving early because I don't want to take more inquiries and complaints of our customers anymore. Sometimes, I wanted to go home with my kid and look over the shop instead. But if I do that, I feel that I won't going to make enough money for the bills.
I wanted to hear your thoughts. What will be your reason or reasons to resign? Feel free to share your thoughts, guys. Thanks in advance & happy myLotting.

You said you've been in the company for 9 years?
I left my company and worked for 5 years because of the way they treated their agents.
If you feel you are not happy anymore and you think you have something to venture like a business, I think it is time.
But it's still up to you.

Yup, 9 years for the same industry but not on the same company. I stayed in my current company for 10 months. And if I work again in the next company, I might feel the same way again.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate how response about this. Hope there's another way of making more money than staying employed aside from opening a business.

@JustBhem I can't do some online teaching aa we have a noisy neighborhood. I tried applying and I did qualify but the environment that I have doesn't seems to fit for the job. Plus my toddlers sometimes ram my workstation. It was just a miracle that I was able to manage the shop with them messing up the entire place sometimes. And sometimes, my customers understand that the place is messy and noisy because of the kids.
But yeah, I really like the idea. If our house has been finished, I wouldn't miss the part of putting a separate workarea from the kids. Probably when they grow up or so.
Do you have any work that you can suggest of?

Try the online home-based. Have you tried it?
For a mom like you, it's the best.

I left my previous workplace due to the stress and the environment that I couldn't stand. I'm self-employed now, and never been happier. If you can find another good opportunity, why not?

I hope there's another way of making more money than staying employed. l feel that I am stuck in a rat race. Even if I get employed in another company, it seems that I will never be happy in another company. And if I work in the next company, I might feel the same way again.. It's like a cycle.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate how response about this. Hope I can be successful in making money as a freelancer.

@resy21curapika It takes time to find legitimate opportunities but once you've found something that works for you, it will gradually get easier. Maybe you can start doing it part-time before switching to full-time freelancing. Good luck!

I resigned from my previous company just because I felt uncomfortable there. It wasn't due to workload. I could handle all types of works assigned to me. It was the boss who seemed to always pass the buck and blame me for something.

I stayed in my current company for 10 months because the boss is cool and kind. The entire management is nice. It is just the workload and the customers. Doing it for almost a decade sucks.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate how response about this. I know there are some boss that are powertrippers. Hope you had a better job after you resigned from your cruel boss.

@resy21curapika Maybe he was cruel. I just felt I was unfairly treated.

Indeed! I am not happy about my routine anymore. I appreciate your response about this. I feel the same way all over again. Even if I took a vacation 2 weeks ago, it seems that it is not right for me anymore.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your feedback about this.
