Do you find it creepy to approach a lady through social media with the intention of dating? / myLot

Would you avoid using social media sites (like twitter, or instagram) when your sole intention is dating? I know there are internet dating sites, but I saw someone who appears really special to me, and only have her instagram.

You can always meet you partner any where, thank God you have her on instagram, you can start from there, then upgrade to calls and chats, then you both can hook up some day if the chemistry between you is exothermic. Lol

Of course not! I am a girl, and for me it sounds romantic... Plus it's all in the way how you will approach the lady. If it is chivalrous then that wouldn't be creepy at all

Attraction can't be helped. It is the way you approach whom you like is what defines whether you come out as a creep or a good prospect as a friend/ acquaintance / something more.

It's not creepy at all. You see a woman and you date each other. Maybe the social sites just the tool for you to meet... just like the olden times we used letters for penpal.

I don't think that makes sense... I won't even do that when I've got a lot of babes around me.. I don't need any kind of dating site...

I use always instagram and facebook but I don't have any soulmate in this site
