Do You Want This For Breakfast

We call it maritangtang. Then this is not ideal for breakfast. But we had this awhile ago. And its good. Yeah this is sea urchin and we bought it this morning from a vendor who sells aqua marine animals every morning. She said "the flesh is full now because its full moon" so that convinced me to buy at $2 per pack. It was not firm but got only little flesh to eat. Its okay at least we tasted the sea urchin. Its been a long time that we haven't this in the table. Only one of my 5 kids did tasted the sea urchin. Most of them don't like this. Photo is mine.

The roe is not poisonous it can be eaten RAW just be careful with urchins with long sharp spine it is extremely painful if... You know

You have to boil water with it and that's it. You steam or put it under fire.

I've tasted the roe RAW when I was a kid just because another kid ate it I got curious but today I just enjoy taking photos of them

I love to eat sea urchins, we call this type "swaki". We live near a seashore back in my home town so I always eat sea urchins. I like the sweet taste of it.
