Heartburn is a very uncomfortable feeling of discomfort (acid indigestion) that we have in the stomach. the reasons for it to appear may be diverse: overeating, bad / spoiled food, out-of-date food, and many others reasons.
What do you do when it comes to you?

Oh! I was really worried the very first time I experienced that! I thought I'll be out of breath. I sometimes vomit and my chest feels like something is blocking. I thought I have a heart condition In the morning my office mate told me to take an OTC medicine. So I did and it's gone like magic

Drinking a big glass of Warm water makes it all good and makes you feel much better in a few mins. Its not a pleasant thing to drink, but it definitely cures your heartburn.
If that also doesnt work, i go for ENO, which is something like a powder which is mixed in water, after you drink that, if it is a acid reflux, then you burp out the gas and it makes you feel good in hardly like 5 mins.
Most of the times, i prefer to keep myself limitted to just the warm water, i don't believe in taking other powders and energy drinks unncessarily.

Acid reflux and heartburn can make one's life miserable. I had it so bad, some 10 years ago, that it almost ended my life. The best way to deal with it is to avoid the things that cause it. So identify the cause and avoid it. Do you suffer from it?
