Are you good with handiwork?

When you need to do some kind of manual work (be it something simple or more complicated), how would you say you do during the process?
Are you great, can you do the job satisfactorily or do you prefer not to try because you know the result will be very bad?

I did some manual work with my hubby such as wiping out the weeds, assemble the kitchen table, the book shelves, those furniture that we bought from Ikea. Really takes a lot of patience

for some simple housework, yes, i can do it myself. My belief is though better to hire an expert as it is more costly to hire an amateur.

It depends on what it is, I can put on a doorknob and even make one if someone taught me, but don't ask me to dor wiring, haha I guess, I am more crafty than handy I guess

I'm a slow worker when it comes to doing things myself, however, i come out with flying colors after all the efforts i put into doing something interesting. With the lack of time and the ever running around busy schedule, i have very less time to do things i need. It is sometimes so tempting to just pay that money and get it at your doorstep, but i prefer doing some interior decor things myself for the home. It definitely gives a personal touch to everything and I feel this is what makes the house a home.
