Busy October

This is my first discussion in October. Just didn’t have time to be here long this past week or so. I have been very busy offline, and although I still checked my notifications daily, my interactions have been very limited and it sure showed on my daily earnings... 
Work has been more demanding than usual. Some expansion project that was pending in the last few years has finally received preliminary approvals a few months ago. Project meetings, onsite visits, as well as entertaining overseas business partners are all part of my job that demands more of my time... 
I wish for a good and productive October to all of us...

@TheInvisibleMan It's okay, because I like my job. But I'd prefer it to be less hectic. I usually manage to find a good balance though...

Thanks for the wishes...I would see how the days gallop as we grow older.
A very busy time for you indeed. This is the last month before exams do lots of teaching, and revision and tests

@responsiveme On some we were just invited by other companies. But yeah, the other night our company invited the other parties. It was at a restaurant, so 'hosting' was just more like making the reservations and taking care of the bills...

Time does go by so fast when we're busy... Another dinner function I have to attend tonight and feels like I'm still recovering from the one I went to the other night... Things should somewhat go back to normal routine for me once the company guests left by end of the week...

@sishy7 do you just have to go or sort of host it too.?
The second option can involve responsibilities .
Basically I like small group.parties...Or if big parties then would like some friends around too

Busy October - yes - it really is! I've been busy with school stuff . . . I have so much to catch up on here, and haven't been able to. I have yet another post that includes you but haven't gotten around to writing it - maybe next week 
. Ah, you sound extremely busy with work stuff - the project sounds "big"! Hope you have a wee bit of time here and there to sneak out of the project and come here

I'm sorry you have been so busy, work does come before Mylot of course. I hope things slow down a little for you so you can be here more. =)

There are times when we must attend to other things than being here on Mylot. I often worry that people will forget about me if I were to take a leave of absence from here.

Our notifications will quickly reduce to almost none when we are not active but I wouldn't worry about people forgetting us. There are plenty of observant members and those with sharp memories on here who will surely remember those coming back after a long absent.

I think sometimes it may be a good sign that we are busy at work. Actually lately I am also busy at work. Fortunately we still had the National Holiday in early October. So at least it was a kind of break for me. Now I have to catch up everything again.

You sound incredible busy. Sometimes it is like that. I am sure things will fall back in place and you'll take up the slack in no time! Don't overwork!
