The GPS is much easier if I am driving as I cannot look down when I am driving. The GPS also will give up to date issues going on with the roads if there is construction or an emergency.

If you are driving you can't use a map because you have to keep your eyes on the road. Better to use a GPS or the MAPS app on the phone. More convenient and safer. Plus you know exactly when to make a turn or get off the road without having to stare at the screen since the voice will tell you that.

A map I can hold in my hand. Who can trust a GPS is always right or will function. A map cannot conk out like tech devices always do.

I would trust a GPS first choice, but we don't have one. We most generally use a map, but some roads have already been changed!
