If you're Canadian, that is. If You're American, it's still 2 months away. What did you or will you serve for Thanksgiving? Who will you share your Thanksgiving with? Does anyone like to eat out?

@tsatske at my house, with my mom and brother. Plus maybe my uncle and a family friend. The usual, turkey, potatoes, cranberry sauce.

@Courtlynn sounds great. I used to do Thanksgiving when my kids were little, I always made turducken, a dozen sides, a couple dozen pies. I had a blast. This is my first year here with my sister in VA and my mom and my 2 nephews. I was thinking of doing duck, but we had duck tonight, and mom was not a fan. My very picky nephew8, though, loved it.

I won't be cooking dinner this Thanksgiving because I'm having rotator cuff surgery next week and will be in a sling for six weeks. So we'll probably all gather at our daughter's house in Charleston, SC or our son's house near us. I would be fine with eating out, but no one else wants to!

@UncleJoe It should be almost the time to take it off, so maybe it will be ok. Just found out from the surgeon today that the rotator cuff tear is worse than we thought. Please say a prayer for me next Monday if you think of it. Thanks, Joe. Glad your sweetie is back home.

@1creekgirl Prayers sent for you, that the Holy Spirit just washes you in a spirit of healing, and that you heal quickly, and are feeling great by Thanksgiving!

I won't be with my kids for Thanksgiving, but with my sister, mom and nephews with whom I live. I will see my kids the week after Christmas.

@tsatske my kids are 16 and 14, but with relocating us from NY to NC, it's taken time to get a job, then an apartment, and now we are having trouble finding someone who can drive them, our stuff and our pets here. Hopefully we can get everything sorted out soon.
