Do mylotters get paid for having followers or for following others? How does following other mylotters add to the discussions or earnings. Some times l don't even get to see post of those I'm following and those that are following, most times l get to see their post on interesting discussion, hot discussions or Top rated discussion.

Having followers or following others does not earn you anything. However when you have more followers it is likely that they respond to your discussions and hence your chances of earning more are higher. So it's an indirect effect.

@dodoazo the effect, like I've mentioned, is indirect. If some of your followers have the habit of checking the activity of people they follow, only then you will possibly benefit. Also some people follow you if they are genuinely find your discussions interesting. But mostly it looks like people just follow without a reason or intention to respond or keep in touch with your discussions.

I do not think that long list of followers helps in earning more cents.

@Lizirazo Our interaction with fellow mylotters matters most and what other mylotters contribute to our discussions.

you know what, when you really, really think about it, if we placed ourselves in their shoes, meaning if you owned mylot, would you structure it in a way that you pay each mylotter every time they followed someone or someone followed them?

Honestly l never thought about that. I am surprised seeing mylotters have over 100 followers and I'm confused if there's payment for following. I make comments on other's discussions and they do likewise and we don't even follow each other.

there are some who have no followers but yet they have good followings. i guess it does not matter if one has thousands or no followers.

I think, no. It may help us to notify them through the appearance in the Follows that we have a discussion and when they comment or replied we are from it, but not from having following or followers.

After finishing with my notifications the next place I head to is my followers and try to interact with their discussions activities as much as I can. I think this is how we support each other here i follow you you follow me we comment on each other. After my followers i head to the different discussions.
