What kind of nightmare will make you scream and wake up?

Perhaps due to the high pressure and busy work, last night I had a nightmare. At first it was nice. As I dreamed very attractive food. Then I saw a wet and cold mouse. And this mouse got close to me and probably bit me. I couldn't help but screaming and then I woke up

It's awful to have bad dreams. Having my children hurt or something about spiders would make me scream for sure.

@youless ....Yes. When my daughter was young I quite often had them. Part of being a parent I guess.

Am I the only 1 who thinks that the worst nightmare is dreaming that you are dreaming something bad then waking up from that dream to realize you weren't dreaming, and the nightmare is true, and then you actually wake up from the real sleep???
Confusing? My apologies.
I dreamed that I was sleeping 1 night, and in that sleep, I dreamed that I was in bed, with a huge spider crawling on top of me, and was on my tummy, looking at me, waiting for me to wake. Then I woke from that dream, only to realize that the spider indeed was on my tummy looking at me. And then it jumped onto my face, only causing me to wake up from the actual dream, screaming and sweating and throwing off the covers.
Now, that's a nightmare.
