Elephant Lean

After our freak snowstorm a couple days ago, it's 74° as I write this. Nice weather + an errand + the fact that I live right on a bike path = a bike ride!
And so I rode, running my errand on my bike. All told I rode 21 miles.
What about the elephant? We live a half mile from a miniature golf course. They have an elephant in the parking lot. I rode up there and took a picture of my bike leaning on it.
Just thought I'd share.

Yes, there is an elephant that sprays water, and even a Statue of Liberty.

I've been wanting to get a picture with the elephant since we moved into the area.

Oh, that's the end of a guardrail. There's a bridge right there.

@teamfreak16 How cool is that? I'm sure some animals really like the attention and go out of their way to do cool stuff. This sheep, Oscar, was jumping up on the top of the hay-roll time and again but then he misjudged and fell off. He disappeared round the back for a few minutes then came flying round and bunted the other sheep as if it were his fault.

@JudyEv - That's so funny. I love it when I get to see that kind of stuff.

I see lots of cool stuff. A lot of wildlife, like foxes and stuff. I used to live across the street from a bike path that ran next to a creek. I was mountain biking on the hiking trail, and some guy riding in the opposite direction said that there was a beaver down in the creek. I found him and started watching him. A lady came walking by and said that he had lived in there for quite a while, and if he notices you watching him, he starts showing off. And he did!

Reminds me of the mini-golf elephant we had when I would play miniature golf as a kid on the boardwalk. Maybe their related in some way
Our elephant was on the course's final hole where you could win a free game for a hole-in-one.

They have a bigger elephant on the actual course. He sprays water on his back.

We have elephants on a couple of the courses I play at, too. One of them is part of the water fountain: water comes out the "nose" of the elephant and goes into a pool.

The course elephant sprays water on his back, creating a water hazard.

At first I thought Elephant Lean was another of your odd band names! You are burning up the trail on your bike.

For all I know there's a band out there somewhere calling themselves that.
