Is Abortion Murder

First off I know this is going to be a heated subject but oh well. I believe woman have the right to terminate the baby if its medically necessary. but to do it just to do it is messed up. If someone kills a pregnant woman and can get a charged with 2 charges of murder then shouldn't abortion be murder? Because you cant tell me that someone who is killing a pregnant woman isn't just aware of what they are doing as a pregnant woman would be when she is having a abortion.

Yes, it is murder. We are ending a life. If a choice between a mother or the unborn child is concerned then the mother must decide what to do.

@candycanedec It was many years ago and the unborn child is now an adult and whenever I see her I can't help but think of why she is alive and the sacrifice that her mom made.

like I told my guy if you ever have to choose between me and our child choose the child I lived my life they haven't had that chance, I was put on this earth to be a mom and if this is the only thing I can do for them then let me do it.

@1hopefulman I am sorry for your loss but that family has my respect she would of made a hell of a mom to me that is the only choice to make.

I feel that it is murder no matter what. The unborn child did not have a choice to be conceived, and the mother should not have a choice to kill it. Just my opinion.

I do not agree with abortion but I am pro choice.
I am adopted and am from a biologically Irish catholic background...they don't agree with abortion.
Abortion is a very big deal to me as if my biological mother had my views I probably would'nt exist.
It's a serious subject that has been discussed here for years and will continue to be discussed.

I got pregnant and it was not what was planned and not meant to happen and we took precautions to avoid this from happening, I never once considered abortion as the answer, Not when there were so many people out there who wanted children and could not have them.

I think it's not if it's done in the first 3 months which is when it is. In my opinion it's not a baby yet it's a fetus so it's not a person so it's not murder. When people are allowed to do it, it's not a baby yet, its just the cells and couldn't live on it's own. Every situation is different so I don't think it's a black and white issue because things come into play. But if you do it before it's even a baby it's not murder to me.

I'd agree with you to an extent.
Thing is here in the UK the abortion limit is too late in my opinion...babies can be kept alive beyond the abortion limit and that is not good in my op opinion.

In the UK an abortion can still be carried out at 24 weeks.
A baby born at 24 weeks can survive these days and that is my issue, the term limit on abortions needs to be reduced significantly.

@Thestylez and that is the first trimester which is the most dangerous time of the pregnancy way to many sides to this. its just not black and white

There are many reasons why people result to doing such things... and in some parts of the world they allow it...we'll they have reasons like because of like this... and like that and so on and on...I remember, that one of the commandments mentions it, there are no penalties here but after life, you are to face it in court with the rightful Judge... Peace...

Yes if a pregnant woman is murdered, the law calls it a "double homicide/murder". So yes, abortion is definitely murder irregardless of the circumstances under which an unborn baby is destroyed or aborted.

Well abortion if done because of medical issue is still abortjon but its not condemed by many but if you will really analize the situation it is still killing a baby.
