Google said that "Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition." Although I am from the Pacific, still a lot of people in our place are in fear whenever Friday the 13th comes. I know someone who just stay home whenever this day comes. Well, I do not judge her, as there have been a lot of talks about how "unlucky" this day could be. And mind you, there are persons who actually fear the number 13. They are called "triskaidekaphobiac"and people who fear Friday the 13th are said to be "paraskevidekatriaphobiac".
Personally, I never considered Friday the 13th as unlucky. Nor fear Friday the 13th. On the contrary, I liked it. Just like every Friday, that is.
What is you take on Friday the 13th? Do you feel we should be extra careful when this day comes?

From my childhood I have heard of these superstitions but never gave undue importance as my parents used to feel such thinking was pure rubbish.now that I am grown up,l share their feeling and the particular day catches my attention only when somebody or anyone points it out.

I always thought of Friday the 13th as a day of cleansing. Since everyone always treated me like a little dark being since I like all the things that are considered unlucky, I just enjoy the day and feel happy!

@Yadah04 Yes it is cleansing! Since it is considered so unlucky it is better to have a different outlook on it and thinking so positive makes it a wonderful day

No special feeling of 13 or Friday on 13th. Same like the number 4 in my country. Nothing special.
