Second First Birthday jitters

My youngest baby is turning 1 on October 23rd. This is the first 1st birthday I've planned myself. Not to mention that the party is a mere 3 days before Halloween- which happens to be my favorite holiday AND my wedding anniversary. It's going to be a fairy tale theme from 2-5 and I have $80 for food and the cash I have left from babysitting, and cat sitting/house cleaning to finish getting gifts, decorations and mine and my hubby's costume. Everything has been so hectic lately that I'm completely exhausted. It's been 4 days of being up 2 1/2 hours earlier then usual, passing out around the same time which leave me running on 4 hours of sleep, 3-4 cups of coffee and countless cigarettes. It completely nerve wracking but completlely worth every second of stress and anxiety and exhaustion.

It sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Just remember that you don't tire yourself out so much that you don't enjoy the party and the time with your family and friends.

@TraciDavis It sounds as if you have it all under control. I am sure it will be a huge success.

It should be, I'm just hoping that everything else goes according to plan since my mom is coming out for it and it'll be the first time she gets to meet my baby and the first time I've seen her in 2 years. Plus my husbands grandma is coming down too.

awww that is so much planning a 1 year olds birthday party. I hope you find time to buy all the things you need in time for the party and halloween. I don't even have a Halloween costume yet this year, not sure if i'm dressing up or not we shall see.
