What do you do at home when it rains?

It's raining. I can't go out. I need to wash the laundry but it seems that I can do that even if I try I am stuck at home. My kids wanted to play outside but it seems that it is not going to happen. So they stay at home wrecking all of the things inside the room. Good for my husband he was able to sleep with all the noise of the kids and the surroundings. He didn't go to work because of the flu. He got it while he was working at the top of the tower on a hot day. Then suddenly it rained. He went home late in the evening feeling wheezy. Me? I got the flu from my husband. I'm also not feeling well but I need to look over the shop as I need to catch up with some sales today. I really wanted to go out as there are other errands that I need to finish as that also would make me earn more money. The image right now is how the place looks like here raining. I'm stuck here doing nothing. What do you usually do when it is raining?

I can still do my laundry even when it's raining outside. I have my washer and dryer inside my laundry room. I usually myLot while waiting for the machines to finish washing and drying...

@dgobucks226 yes, it is... except for those who wash and dry their clothes outside which I know is the norm in some places...

@sishy7 Yes, outside and rainy weather do not mix. I guess ducks wouldn't mind it though

I do errands when I'm at home. I try to go out and work out and if I can, I still run in the rain. If the rain is too strong for me to go outside, I stay at home reading a good book, or get online and post here in myLot. If those don't work, I just zone out and sleep.

Yes I believe rain limit our activities outside our home. But we can still make activities inside our home. In my case, I have works to do so, raining or not, I have to go out and work.

I love to sit inside if I can and watch the rain coming down from inside. I watch TV and work on the computer when I can be inside when it rains.

It was raining yesterday and now we have a gloomy weather. I hope it will not rain later for I need to join my friends in their small gathering. We also have Champurrado which is best for a weather like this.

Get well soon. I also have a flu. It has been raining here for the last three days. I always keep warm and maybe watch a movie, eat or go to bed.
