Taking advantage of office hours

I like MyLotting when I'm in the office and I'm not that busy. I usually eat my lunch for 20 minutes and 40 minutes I use it to MyLot. Is it wrong to take advantage of my office hours?

Of course not, why? Because I also do this also, and even more time in my case. Just beware to be caught by your boss.

I use to take my lap top to work with me and when we were not busy I got on the laptop.

If it's your break time I see no problem taking advantage of your office hours.

It sounds like you are using your lunch time to myLot. That's your time and what you do on your time, your boss isn't worried about. It would be different if you were using your work time to myLot, then it would be wrong.

@aureliah I thought you were using your phone. When I was working, that would never have been allowed. It was subject to termination if caught.

That is very true but at times even if you are at lunch break, they find it offensive to engage in personal jobs with the office machines.

Is it allowed? Most companies seeem to have strict policies on this. But if you arent jeapordizing your work I cannot see why not!
