An Opportunity to Stay Indoors

Even though Princess will not stay in, the steady rain this morning has given me an opportunity to stay indoors.
Thunderstorms are forecast for the entire day here. I guess I will not be mowing the lawn.
It is still dark out. I got out of bed at 5:45. That is sleeping late. . . we are usually up at 5.
Indoor time=myLot time =housework time and maybe (?) baking and cooking time.

If it dries out here by Monday I may mow as well after all of my doctors' appointments. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

A quick run to the car left me a little bit damp, but all in all, I am fine. It has been a good day.

My sister is that way sometimes. Unless she is babysitting the neighbor's dog. Then she goes to bed early enough to get up around 8.

I did not bake anything today, but will make a large pan of lasagna tomorrow. We ended up going shopping.

I am gonna do a split day, half inside and half outside, my dogs need there area mowed.

We ended up doing a meat stock up shop. It is good to know we have food for when we cannot shop. I will only mow small portions at a time myself.

You are an early riser.I don't get up until 6:30 am.I know that for you,staying indoors doesn't mean you are at a loose end.

I just looked out the window and saw huge storm clouds, not raining yet and the clouds are moving fast, I can see blue sky behind them. Maybe rain maybe not.

It has been quite warm/hot here which brought thunder and lightening our way. The clouds have swept over in waves more or less, so our weather has been a mix of sun and darkness both.
