What's on your agenda for this Sunday?

It's 8:30 AM here in the San Francisco Bay Area and I am planning my day. I have leftover ribs and beans from a music gig last night, so lunch is set.
I'm going spend the morning grading in-class assignments from the College and doing a couple of progress notes from late last week.
Then I'm off to an old folks home for another music gig today. One lady, probably in her 90s, told me about visiting the Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma after our last gig there, and then said, "Oh, but that was 40 years ago. I wonder if it's still there."
I researched it and found out it IS still there. I wonder if she'll remember that I promised I'd research it for her.
After that, I'm off to Michael's house for a jam session with our bass player friend. I actually prefer drinkin' and jammin' to actual gigs.
How is your Sunday shaping up? And of course, what are you having for lunch? Heh.

At 8:30 this morning we were at the Oregon coast deciding where to eat breakfast and then to take a walk along the 804 trail in Yachats, before starting our drive home (with a stop for lunch and a walkabout in Old Town Florence, Oregon.
I'll be glad when I can play guitar well enough to "jam." I did write another tune, so far prosaically called "D Chord Melody."

@JamesHxstatic I like that kind of musical irony.

@TheHorse It's just a little pop song, woman dumped boy long time ago, man still "sees" her on the street, mind playing tricks. Title has not yet surfaced. Sort of upbeat melody undercut by "poignant" lyrics.

I just spent my Sunday sleeping. And I was supposed to go to the bank earlier to deposit some money among a few other things. lol. I procrastinated a lot again. But at least I've accomplished a goal for today: I've fasted the whole day. Woo hoo~!

@TheHorse Oh yes - I have been a subscriber to your YouTube page for a year or so now, if not more.
And you're welcome to the picture.
I had one piece of video from a thundery evening in Berlin as well, but no still of it and only the sound of rain, not the sight of it.

Sounds like you have a fun day ahead. It's raining here today so I'm hunkered down and after getting some things out of the way I'll probably read my book or look for a good movie to watch. How are you doing with those fires?

@TheHorse glad that you have blue skies today. Hopefully those fires will be out. It is so scary watching them on tv

My Sunday isn't so good. A good friend passed away last night and the Pack lost with Aaron Rodgers getting a serious possible season ending injury - broken collarbone. So the Pack lost. We had a lot of injuries today.
As for what I will be eating eventually - I have a pot roast in the crock pot with potatoes, onions, and baby carrots.
As for plans - I'm going to proof Freedom's Cry so I can get that approved and published, though that won't happen in one day.

I am waiting for Little Miss to wake from her nap so we can go outside and play in the garden. I have to move some soil to the front bed and build it up a bit. There are a lot of rocks in that bed. Not good for growing at the moment.

@TheHorse I have a bag of tulip bulbs that will look lovely when they bloom in the spring. Also have some garlic bulbs that I want to plant in a sunny spot. One can never have too much garlic!
I have to decide what to put in the bed for perennials next spring. I am tired of uprooting annuals and replanting them in the spring.

That is nice of your to entertain the lonely souls at the nursing home. I bet she will remember.
No plans of food for the day yet.
Have a fun and relaxing day.

We had a pretty quiet day, it's gotten so cold here all of a sudden I'm very close to turning on the heat.

What I thought I had planned did not happen, so we went to Lowes instead. We got plywood for hubby and a cabinet for my less than full wall of storage.

Sundays are pretty much the same for me, up at 4:30 am to watch the grandson until his dad gets home from his 24 hr shift at 8:30 am. Then I go back to bed for a couple of hours and then I hit the computer for a while.
Sweet of you to research for that lady, and pretty sweet guitar in the picture.

My day is coming to an end as it is 8 PM here. You sound like you're going to have a great day. Know any music groups that need someone for making booking etc. As soon as I can get away from my dismal life here say hopefully by next summer I will need a job and an idea of where I am going. You make your side of the world sound like so much fun and so musical
