~A Little Scare This Morning~

Hey everyone, I hope your doing well today. It's been an okay day here so far.
This morning my husband's nephew accidentally let Pebbles out of the house so I had to find him. I searched down the road, I called his name, asked the neighbor if he saw him...and then I saw something out of the corner of my eye. 
Thank God he got stuck in a bush by the pond, he was going toward the water but didn't make it that far. My daughter is in LOVE with this cat so I'm grateful nothing happened to him.
I have been cleaning the house and taking care of the kids as well. My husband is outside fishing with the older kids right now. They are having fun! Hopefully they won't catch another turtle...
I will be here on and off now today, whenever I have time. What are you doing today?

Sometimes the cats are so quick to dart out the door when it is opened even for a split second. Our younger cat can be out of sight and once that door is opened she is outside like a bolt of lightning. Makes me crazy.
Glad you got your furry baby back inside safely.

@LovingMyBabies I have had cats disappear for over a week and then just show up like nothing ever happened. I worried so much during that time. Brats.

@Elusivebutterfly Yes they are very fast, he is super quick! Thank you, I'm so glad he's inside and safe again.
We have never had a cat before so I thought he hated us and that's why he tries to escape but I guess not.

We most a puppy before and not a long time ago lost a kitten. So we know the feeling of losing. Good that Pebbles was found.
Spending extended weekend as the government suspended the work and classes due to transport strike nationwide.

Ut-oh. Glad you found pebbles. Can only imagine how hurt your daughter would be if you didn't.

@Desirousdreamer He's the first cat we have ever had so this is all new to us.
I thought he hated being here so he escapes but people are saying all cats do this...

@LovingMyBabies Yep, it is very normal for cats to do this. If you haven't done it yet, I suggest learning more about cats so you are prepared for anything else he does haha

That that you found Pebbles. Good luck with their fishing. It would be nice if they caught some fish for dinner. I have been busy most of the day laundry, cleaning, shopping and my daily walk. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Glad you found Pebbles! I used to have two kittens and one of them once somehow managed to escape from the garden even though the walls were 7 feet high and she was a tiny kitten, I was so lucky to be able to find her in a neighbour's garden!
