What Country Would You Choose?

If you had to choose another country to live in besides your own, what country would it be? I think about things like this sometimes though I know my old bones aren't going anywhere. It's fun to consider though and I often go back and forth between one destination and another.
My first choice would be Greece. They say we sometimes have an affinity for a certain place and Greece is mine. Plus the food is good. My second pick would be the UK because I have friends there. The weather isn't great but the beer is good :)) I also like Belize because it's so laid back.
I have been to all three of these countries and maybe that's why I'm fond of them. Where would you choose?
Zorba the Greek :)

Personally I would stay in the U.S. But if I had to leave I think I would head to our northern friends, Canada. I know that is very unimaginative, but it's only about a 3 hour drive from where I live right now.

Canada is great but so cold :( I'm staying here too but it's fun to think about sometimes.

@suziecat7 My grandfather came from Germany when he was a child. So I wouldn't mind visiting Germany but I don't think I would want to live there.

I have been to Mexico several times and I would like to live in Ciudad de Mexico if I wasn´t living in my country.

Mexico is a good choice - beautiful and good weather.

Israel. It's my spiritual home. But with my ear problems making flying prohibitive, I'll only get to Hebron, Kentucky.....

I wouldn't move anywhere where English wasn't commonly spoken. I just don't know if I can learn another language at this stage in life. I would choose Canada first because I wouldn't have to go far (although knowing French would help) My second choice would be Australia. I loved it when I visited. My third choice would be England.

Yeah, England would be find or even Scotland but I'd have to learn a different way to speak English

I used to think Paris, France but now lean toward London. I would like to check out Australia someday.

I love London though the weather is pretty terrible. Australia has many terrifying critters :)) But both would be great just the same.

@suziecat7 London does have awful weather. Critters would not be an issue in Sydney.

That is a cool question. I honestly don't know. I think I would like Australia because of the weather and people.... I also think I would like Uk -- I hope you get to go back to Greece sometime!
