Yes my pets, three dogs understand what we say to them. They also understand their names and respond accordingly. It depends as to how we train and teach them to behave. Also my pets follows what we say and also sees to our face and listen carefully what we say to them. They listen with concentration what we say and move their tail or jump with happiness when we praise them. Animals have emotions and do understans the language of love.
