What Did Jesus Say About "The End of This World?"

I was communicating with another person on Mylot about what it means to have FAITH in God and so I thought that I would SHARE with everyone, some of my comments to that person, because I think it is so important that we understand that it takes more than just faith to please God.
It's a wonderful thing when a person "believes in God" and has faith but did you know that believing in God and having faith is NOT all that is necessary to please God?
Let me explain: Read these two scriptures (and there are many other scriptures in the Bible that I could mention) but these two scriptures will explain what I mean.
James 2:18-26 "Nevertheless, a certain one will say: "You have faith and I have works. Show me your faith apart from works and I shall show you my faith BY my works. You believe there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well and yet the demons believe and shudder."
(YES, even Satan and the demons believe in God)
"But do you care to know, O empty man, that faith apart from works is inactive? You see that a man is to be declared righteous by works and not by faith alone...Indeed, as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead." That's what the Bible says.
What are the "works" that these scriptures are talking about? Well, what did Jesus tell his disciples to do?
Read Matthew 28:19, 20 Jesus told them: "Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them...teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the "end of the world." This is a COMMANDMENT from Jesus himself.
So these scriptures, among many other scriptures tell us that just having faith is not enough. We must teach others about God.
If you go to JW.ORG, you will see that Jehovah's Witnesses are teaching others about God. They go from door to door in 240 lands telling others about the Good News of God's Kingdom. Jesus told us to pray for that Kingdom to come and God's will to be done on Earth as it is in heaven. Jesus would not tell us to pray for something that isn't going to happen. That Kingdom WILL come.
Last year, and actually every year, Jehovah's Witnesses are having thousands of Bible Studies in people's homes and other locations all over the world. They have published Bibles and other Bible based literature in over 900 different languages.
You can go to their website at JW.ORG and watch videos and read Bible-based information in any of those 900 different languages. So, no matter what language a person speaks, he can learn about God.
One more scripture: What is God's will? "This is fine and acceptable in the sight of our Savior, God, whose will is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth." 1 Timothy 2:4
So it’s actually God’s WILL that all persons can be saved if they come to an accurate knowledge of the truth. Where is this accurate knowledge of truth found? In the Bible, of course.
All a person has to do is read the Four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and they will see how Jesus taught his apostles to go out and preach to others and the Book of Acts, tells all about their preaching work. That's why it’s called the Book of Acts. Action is needed to please God, not just faith alone.
This year over 8.3 million Jehovah's Witnesses, will spend over a BILLION hours going to the people in over 240 countries, and preaching to the people, just like Jesus and his apostles did in the first century. For over 130 years, Jehovah’s Witnesses have been doing this preaching work, that Jesus said would be done “in the time of the end.”
Daniel was told to "make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of the end." It says "Many will rove about and the true knowledge will become abundant." Daniel 12:4
Jesus explained EXACTLY what the signs would be for the end of this world. He mentioned wars and famine and earthquakes, but there was one more thing that had to be done before the end would come.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 tells us the "In the last days, critical times hard to deal with will be here..." All we have to do is watch the news and we can see that the "critical times" have arrived.
Read Matthew the 24th chapter to see what the signs are, but what was the one more thing that had to be done? Read Matthew 24:14 It couldn't be any more clear than this.
Jesus said it himself: "And this good news of the kingdom WILL BE PREACHED in all the inhabited earth and THEN the end will come."
It's all there in the Bible. No one should ignore what the Bible says.

The messages we should be paying attention to come right from our heart, our mind and our souls. The word is the light, the truth, and it is also referred to as the Living Bible, because God inspired it and He is the Alpha and the Omega, The first, and the last. We are all in his image so that should make us feel really proud to be here right now, at this moment.
