I Just Want to Sleep Why is it so hard to sleep? I lie down in my bed Eyes shut tight Sleepiness is in my head Yet I can never sleep

Maybe your thinking too much of something, try playing sweet and soothing music to ease up tensions you are feeling right now...just a suggestion.

No I'm not, I'm just tired and I don't want to move, I don't want to do anything, just reading some things through internet, I then I saw this poem, right place at the right time, to explaine my mood right now. thanks anyway.

I hope you can somehow fall asleep. Reading before bed makes me sleepy.

oh thank you. me, just listen to some instrumental songs, reading couldn't make me sleep, I always wanted to go to the next chapter, until I didn't notice that it's almost dawn.

I realize if you think a lot of things, it can somehow affect your sleep. Sometimes, if you have problems, if you have an upcoming activities and you are quite excited, or if you are broken hearted haha, that could also contribute to the factors why we cannot fall asleep. Avoid also drinking coffee or sodas because they contain caffeine which can increase ones' alertness and prevents you from falling asleep. Consider your lifestyle, what you eat and drink, they might be the cause of your unable to fall asleep. Do some exercises and reading can also help you.

@Shortail every person has their own way of releasing stress. Find you way and just let go of stress. If it doesn't help, use sleeping meds.

@Whiteflash yes indeed, but my stressed actually right now, is because of losing in online trading. lol, tomorrow I hope the markett will bounce back, It's 2:30 am here, and my work start at 8 am, and still cant sleep because of that, haha
