Ugh, I wanted to buy a new phone

But the store raised the price from 200 pounds to 280! It's now 80 pounds more! :( I wish I bought it last week. Why do they do that? Is it because christmas is coming, so they could put the products on sale when christmas is over? If so, I'll just wait till then to buy a phone haha (Hopefully my phone stays alive till then, cause this thing is really worse) But I really don't want to spent more then 200 pounds on a phone! Cause I don't have much money haha.

Is it due to the holiday season or is it somehow connected with the UK brexit? I understand most young people in Scotland favor staying with the EU.
