Any artists out there?

Hey! I am an artist. I mostly like to draw/paint animals, scenery, flowers.. etc. I have been drawing since I was 5 years old. It is hard for me to get to know other artists and connect. Would love to meet some of you out there! What do you like to draw? Any mediums that you find difficult? Any subject matters that you just can't seem to draw quite right no matter how hard you try? For me it is drawing people! SO frustrating!

Hi, love your lion, well of course, I'm a leo. I'm not really good at drawing so I stick to taking pictures but I have tried to draw horses, dogs and cats.
Mom used to draw a little and was kinda good at it but she didn't develop her skills.

Thank you! I'd love to see some of your photography if you have any posted? I love to draw animals. It is my favorite subject matter... I'm doing murals right now on our walls in the house! What do you like to take pictures of?

I always share photos here on mylot @ArtisticFlames I'm not much of a writer so I depend on the pictures I take to give me motivation to write. You'll be able to see many shots of my furmily if you visit my profile.

Thank you! I do appreciate it. It is nice to get feedback from other artists. Mostly because the people who like my work have NO clue about art. I ask if it looks ok or if something is off and they all say it looks fine. I sometimes don't know if they say that so they don't hurt my feelings or if they really just have no clue. lol

I am not an artist, but my mum, sister, son and nephew are. My sister is a pet artist and lives in New Zealand. My son is greatly in demand and has painted murals in almost every nightclub in Oxford and makes his living doing Oxford scenes and cartoons.That lion is lovely.

Hey Elaine, my name happens to be Elaine too! What a coincidence. I am an artist who loves drawing, painting, sewing, digital media, multi media...etc... quite the list. I like to draw almost anything. You can draw people (at least portraits) with the help of a grid. It breaks it down so it's less intimidating. Have you done murals? I have done a couple in middle school (at my school) I would love to do one again someday, but getting an opportunity is difficult.
