Taking a class tomorrow / myLot

Taking a crochet class tomorrow. Right now I know how to crochet a chain around the world. I just don't know how to turn or follow a pattern, or anything else. So hoping to learn some more. It's at a yarn store, they have knitting classes, too.

I think I did well. The class is held once a month and you are allowed to go as often as you want until you feel you have it. I learned to chain and single crochet. Next month I think I will be on vacay during the class, but I am going to go back to learn to double crochet, triple crochet and double and a half, with lots of practice in between. When I feel I have all these down pat, I will take their Granny Square class.
