If You Have a Free Website...

Where you don't have to pay the fees like the domain name and the hosting of the site. You just have that website to use for your own gain. What would you like to do to it to profit? You see, I was wanting to buy myself a website. To create my online CV and promote the services I offer. But after thinking about this further, I don't really want a site just for that. So will a blog do? But creating content isn't always an easy thing for me too--especially promoting said content. Promoting stuff isn't my forte. I also wanted to create an online shop. But I have no idea where to actually start with that (despite being someone who is already used to doing these stuff for my clients). I also wanted to share that site with my family, so they can profit from it. But it seems that even they are not sure what they'd do with it. So how about you, if you have a website that's free for you, what are you going to do to it to profit from it?
