Today is going to be a busy day. October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and today we are celebrating it in our church with a potluck to follow the service. I made my dish last night. I was surprised by what I was to bring, as usually my end of the alphabet is salads or dessert. This time it was a side dish. I made zucchini with tomato and onion. So I'll be leaving in about an hour for church, and don't know what time I'll be home.
Then there's the game today between Green Bay and New Orleans at Lambeau. So it's a good thing I'll be late coming home since the traffic won't be bad when I do. Everybody will already be at Lambeau.
At some time today I'll try to get back here. I also need to get more proofing done on Freedom's Cry, which is coming along well. If I can keep on track, I should have it ready for approval by the weekend.
That's my day. Now time to get in the shower and get ready to leave. What are your plans for today? Thanks for reading.

Hope you didn't miss too much of the game. and that there was enough offerings at the potluck for you to enjoy (though a "chat day" every couple of months will not derail a diet unless you allow it to and you have enough will power with the Lord's help.

I miss church potlucks. I have not been to one in ages. It seems that the local church I have visited does not have these events. Today is the 27th and I have been busy working online. The kids will go to the cities Trunk-or-Treat tonight. Their oldest brother Michael is also coming over and bringing everyone's birthday presents. It will be a busy evening.

Sunday is always a laid back day for us. We do watch football, most of the afternoon. Our weather is quite rainy this week! No one stopped by, which is unusual for our home!

Sounds like a busy day for you. We were to have birthday dinner at our apartment but my betterhalf became ill yesterday and had to go to emergency so we had to call the dinner off, didn't want to infect anyone else, so we're laying low today. He's feeling a tiny bit better taking steroids and antibiotics. Hope you accomplish everything yo have planned.
