Happy in my comfy home growing plump and fat, a nasty man came along and put an end to that. He yanked me rudely from my bed and then produced a knife, oh what the heck was going on? I feared I'd lose my life. He plunged that knife into my flesh I was consumed with dread, he then cut out a mouth and eyes and made an ugly head. Then what d'you think that guy did next? He scooped out my inside and put a lighted candle there, I'm slowly being fried! A jack-o-lantern now I am, a grimace on my face, that man he should be brought to book and charged with G.B.H. GBH is Grievous Bodily Harm.

@jaboUK I wasn't familiar with the initials either. Course, I don't remember many of the initials many use while texting either.

It must be a shock to be disturbed And would fill your heart with dread Most people would be horrified And hastily have fled The thought of someone doing that At first seemed very mean But suddenly I realised It was done for Hallowe’en

@rebelann It's a rhyming quatrain but I don't know if it has a proper name.

@snowy22315 I've got all my poems together (this one isn't actually a limerick) on my computer, but I can't be bothered with the hassle of publishing them. I don't think there would be much of a market for them anyway, but thank you
