Today is Monday and I have to pay the payment for the electricity of my house. This month is not much to pay 5 dollars. But, basically when the winter comes, my payment is much higher - about 15 dollars. And how much do you pay for electricity? Monogo?

I should have paid it on the twentieth every month but I usually pay it on the 25th. So total payment includes fine.

@Lertka People with salaries like you here pay more than $5 in their electric bill. Our minimum electric bill here is around $10 so it could never be just $5.

I just use very little electricity. I'm saving a little. By our standards, 15 dollars is a lot. After all, our salaries are basically about 200 dollars a month and then it is rare.

The electricity rates here in the Philippines is known to be one of the most expensive in Asia so i do my best to limit my electric consumption. Seriously considering switching to solar but getting solar panels set up is very expensive.

@Lertka we don't have four seasons, so the reason the electric bill is higher during summer here is everyone's at home and the fans and aircons are on and tv watching, computers and other gadgets. i say also for christmas here because of the christmas lights and displays, and maybe some relatives visiting and staying.
