I thought we were over this hype. I was driving home from work today I drive the back roads, I stopped at a stop sign and looked to my right. There he was red sweatshirt, clown mask. He was just walking slowly down the road.
I know we are close to Halloween, but I just thought to myself "They're doing it again aren't they?"
I thought they were just a fad thing when the election was going on but now I am not so sure. I also saw the new American horror story show has begun their new season, a season about a cult of clowns terrorizing people who are Hilary supporters.
Last time these clown people were around, they got hurt. Mostly because people were scared and thought they had to defend themselves.
I just wish I knew what the end game for these people were...

I'm thinking between the approach of Halloween, the high ratings of American Horror Story, and the success of the movie "It," we are bound to see much more clowns than normal this season. Let's just hope no one gets hurt.

@Ketket All it will take is for one of them to get shot, and then the rest of them will be scrambling to ditch the clown costumes! haha

This fad won't stop for a while. As long as the clowns are not hurting people, I don't mind them. It is the people that ruin the fun that are just awful.

I agree with this, I just don't understand why they would put themselves in some sort of danger just to get a scare out of people.

It could be because of the IT movie to but still no excuse for this crap. This could of caused wrecks and scared children. These people just don't care.

@Ketket exactly. Do they not understand the concept of self defense?

I agree with that. Why are they putting themselves in a situation where they could get hurt. No one knows what a scared person is going to do to protect themselves.

@candycanedec I think they just get a kick out of someone being scared. Thats what I think. You have to be a special kind of human to act like that.

I know people have been leaving the red balloons around but I haven't seen any clowns this year or last outside of Halloween itself

I have watched both the Original It, and the New It. I was not scared of either movie, neither one made me jump. I didn't think they were as scary as the hype made them out to be.
