Having My Favorite Salad For Lunch

I love when I have everything I need to make this particular salad. It is my favorite. It is filling, satisfying, and absolutely delicious. So today I am having it for lunch. Truthfully I could probably eat it three times a day 7 days a week. It's just that good. Tonight will be a homemade chicken soup that is currently in the crockpot cooking away. The whole house is starting to smell terrific. I can't wait for dinner. Meanwhile I am here on mylot wandering around, reading posts, and conversing and commenting with other mylotters. What's is dinner going to be in your home?

My father used to love sardines. I never did develop a taste for them. It is avocado in the salad.

@HazySue Brought up in a Catholic family.we also have fish every nigh. Used to run down to the store for fish and chips so good.

Dinner last night was a turkey leg and wing, and guacamole mashed potatoes. I'll be making those potatoes again. They were delicious. See picture - leg is already history. What is in your salad?

@HazySue I make up the guacamole - avocados, diced tomatoes, lime juice, and spices, cream it all together, then make potatoes the usual way, then add it all together and mash away. It's delicious!

Mmmm, that soup sounds yummy! I'm not sure what I'm going to make yet. I'm in kind of a blah mood, so nothing really appeals to me right now. Guess I'll figure it out before I get home! lol

Usually we will have Chinese food as dinner. There are five people in my family, so it can be a soup, one or two kinds of meats, some vegetables and so on.

Wow, very healthy lunch! And chicken soup for dinner sounds delicious too. It's almost 11 pm here, I had fried rice with roasted chicken for dinner.

I'm making meatloaf with mashed potatoes and some sort of vegetable tonight. It's been on the warm side here so soup hasn't been on my menu yet. I do love doing things in the crockpot. Enjoy your soup

@HazySue I take my medication after lunch so then cannot eat after that and take more medication before bed. If I eat late at night now I do not feel good.
