Many of you know this person as he shaped the infancy or rock and roll. Has died at the age of 89 This story is now pending. How can one not forget Blueberry Hill that made him famous. R.I.P. He had quite a few other good songs, though lesser-known. I liked "Walking to New Orleans". It kind of fascinated me that a person (even a fictional one) would be so determined to get somewhere that he would just walk, even though it was so far away.

I much prefer his version of "Ain't That a Shame" to Cheap Trick's....and definitely over Pat Boone's version. He was so innovative, and sadly I don't think modern fans can see how important and influential he was on rock and roll.
