Close call... and a fender scratcher...

Had a close call this morning... I set the alarm on my laptop for 5:30 AM... and miraculously woke up naturally before 5:30 to see that the alarm was no longer Set... not sure how that happens... because I clearly set it last night before bed. Wouldn't be the first time that it's happened either, and I've been late to work as a result before. I've been meaning to buy a new REAL alarm clock, but I always procrastinate shopping because I despise just about everything about shopping
In regards to the "Fender scratcher"... I had a little accident this morning on the way to work... no damage but still, what a great start to the work day.. I was at a red light, and the car in front of me started to drift backwards as if he didn't have his foot on the break... I was beeping like crazy so that he'd notice what was happening... the car to the right of me was beeping at him too... and eventually KAHPLUNK... his car bumped into mine. I'm not sure if he fell asleep behind the wheel, or just didn't know he was drifting backwards... but c'mon man... pull it together!
How was everyone else's day??

I hate when my phone does that! Whether the alarm goes off or not in the morning is often hit or miss.
The driver must have been asleep, otherwise how would he not feel that he was drifting backwards? Sometimes people scare me with how inattentive they are to the road.
My day was uneventful, thankfully.

That's what I was thinking... haha surprising how easy it must be to fall asleep at a red light.
I'm glad you enjoyed your day!

I'm glad too! And definitely nothing wrong with the quiet!
