It is very difficult to run the house now. Every item is costly. And $5 is nothing, we just can buy vegetables for one week that's it. If you are non-vegetarian then It will be for only one day meal. Then what about meaning 29 days? After demonetisation in India we are facing financial problem. Poor people and rich people okay they are same no change, but middle class people got affected badly.

I could not buy vegetables for a week on $5 here.I know the UK has a better standard of living.I can go to a market near me and get bowls of vegetables for £1. I could get potatoes, tomatoes, courgettes and maybe apples. Yesterday I had to send a relative money as they ran out. It really made me think when I was thinking "Gosh I could not do that either."

@Jotomy the trouble is that I would have to come to India for my money to go that far so overall it really wouldn't work out as I'd have to pay the plane fare.

5$ is actually not enough. but if you going to think carefully, this site is actually is just for an extra income. Extra income. you cant depends your bills or vegetables on this site. You should work hard if you really want to earn and buy your things. just be thankful that this site pay you for nonsense things you going to post.

I understand. $5 here is just for 5 days of rice for seven people that I feed. And these members of the family doesn't have decent jobs. These people are my in-laws that I am stucked with. But I try to have other means of earning like answering surveys and doing online tasks for a certain clients. I am pretty sure you would be able to make it through.

The 5dollars here in manila is equalvalent to 250php which is a decent amount of money for me to buy some of my toiletries. What else or where else do you use the 5 dollars?

I don't think we can meet our monthly expenditure with 5$.Everything has become expensive, be it food, cloth, electricity etc. These all come under monthly expenditures. It is not possible to meet our expenses with just 5$.We need more money for our expenses.

Well, the money earned here is always a bonus, and nothing more. For more earnings, one need to be great in one's job and also make a lot more and well directed efforts.
